Objective data analysis enabled by synchronized measurements
DEWETRON offers comprehensive data acquisition solutions forevaluation of vehicle dynamics. DEWETRON´s unique SYNC-CLOCK™ technology ensures synchronized recording of all sensor systems and sensors. Analog signals like acceleration, temperature, strain, pressure, force, etc. are directly connected to the instruments as well as CAN-bus, FlexRay, GPS, digital stati , counters, encoders and up to 4 hardware synchronized video cameras.
Implementation of hardware sync to major sensor systems like Kistler Roadyn® 2000 wheel force transducers or GeneSys ADMA INS/GPS system enable reduction of editing and analysis times by up to 50 %. At the same time, the quality of the analysis results can be improved by a factor of 5 – 10. Having automatically all data synchronized including video and voice data, makes data analysis and processing faster and easier than ever. This brings a whole new level of understanding and comparing test results.
The DEWETRON “automotive toolbox” consists of a wide range of hardware products and a powerful software suite. The DEWETRON data recorders like DEWE2-A4, DEWE2-M4, DEWE2-M7s, etc. support connection of virtually all common sensors.

The powerful DEWETRON software suite is providing many convenient features combined with ease of use.
It starts with easy channel setup, a built-in sensor database that you can populate yourself - or automatically when TEDS sensors are connected. Complete control over all of the hardware and interfaces installed is next followed by powerful online data processing, math-functions, filters, statistics, reference curves, etc. Plenty displays enable you to freely create your preferred views of all signals, calculations, videos, etc.

A special and very useful feature is the “Polygon plugin” where various objects like vehicles, cones, lanes/routes and trajectories are flexibly defined and three-dimensional displayed. Dynamic objects move online based on recorded GPS data. Relative distances and angles between these objects are calculated and displayed online.
This kind of calculation and display is especially useful for ADAS testing. The example video shows that the driver always keeps overview of the situation – ONLINE on his screen.
A very special application for the polygon plugin is advanced lane change testing. The test can be displayed in the 3-D view based on accurate GPS positioning of cones and the test vehicle. The distances of the test vehicle to each cone and lane are calculated. Thus the tests are much more meaningful and easier and better reproducible due to the 3-D online display.
